Stevens County Fire Protection District #12 is an all-volunteer organization which provides fire prevention and response as well as emergency medical services to approximately 1000 full time residents and countless visitors over 75 square miles and 17 miles of Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area in Northeast Washington State.  While fire and EMS incidents are our most common dispatches, we also respond for motor vehicle and boating incidents, hazardous chemical spills, and anything else of an urgent nature where citizen safety or property is at risk. A robust mutual aid agreement with neighboring districts and state agencies means that there are also times when we can be found far away from home helping other agencies.
